Alarm MonitoringCCTV Remote Video Monitoring

For some years now most security providers have promoted alarm monitoring as a necessary part of owning a security system. If and when your alarm is triggered, a control room operator can notify you of a possible incident.

The problem with this is that in most cases it’s a false alarm. As a result, not only have you been woken up at some ungodly hour, but you have also incurred the cost of anything up to $70-80 for the privilege of a patrol car to ensure your premises is safe and secure.

CCTV Video Monitoring

Technological advancements in CCTV have resulted in higher resolution cameras. When coupled with high speed internet, our customers are using CCTV monitoring in conjunction with alarm monitoring as a part of the verification process. That way, the control room operator can login to your CCTV system and confirm whether a burglary has occurred or not. This minimizes the need for a patrol call out which, in turn, reduces your costs. In most cases the control room won’t call you unless a break in has occurred, allowing you a good night’s sleep.
